Nihar Gala earned his medical degree from Rutgers University in 2012, and after that he stayed at Rutgers and learned as an intern and for his family medicine residency. Then in 2017, Nihar launched Alpha Care Medical where he remains as the CEO.
Alpha Care Medical is a primary care provider with 4 locations throughout Delaware, which include Seaford, Millsboro, Dover, and Harrington. Here, Nihar and his staff take an integrative approach to medicine and provide the utmost care and individualized treatment plans to improve health and well-being. Alpha Care also specializes in behavioral health, psychiatry, and opioid addiction. Nihar speaks 3 different languages fluently (English, Spanish, and Hindi) and uses his knowledge to work with patients from many different cultures and backgrounds.
In 2022, Nihar decided he wanted to give back to the next generation of business owners, and started his non-profit journey with his Nihar Gala Scholarship for American Entrepreneurs which provides funding and generates awareness for the issues faced by young entrepreneurs.
